We are pleased to share with you our latest bright news:
First solar installation
Final lease pricing
New project manager
Solar equipment selection
First solar installation With the support of Venture Bank in Bloomington, we have closed on the project financing required to start our installation phase. We are INCREDIBLY pleased to announce our first solar installation for the first week in November… other installation will follow after that. As soon as the first solar system starts generating clean electricity, you will hear from us again!
Final lease pricing
As a result of falling prices in solar PV equipment and also the availability of funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, our lease prices have been revised downward once again. These are the final prices that are now included in our lease contracts:
Remember the initial price for a 5.6KW system was $193/month? We are moving in the right direction…
New project manager
We are also fortunate to have a wonderful addition to our staff: Jason Linder joins freEner-g after years of working for a nationally-recognized solar installer in CA. As a matter of fact, Jason has more than 250 KW of residential solar installation experience and 3 MW of commercial solar experience. He has hit the ground running and brought enormous insight into efficiency, safety and professionalism in solar installations. We are all lucky to have Jason and his family now living in Minnesota!
Solar equipment selection
After a careful selection process including technical and pricing considerations, we have selected two key product lines for our solar systems: Siliken solar modules and Enphase micro-inverters. Siliken (http://www.silikenusa.com/) provides high quality modules with the best technical and pricing characteristics, in particular, the best power tolerances in the market as you can see in their product literature (http://www.silikenusa.com/Resources/Documents/SLK60P6L_RESCOMM_082609.pdf). To complement the solar panels, we will install micro-inverters from Enphase (http://www.enphaseenergy.com/ ), which will provide a highly flexible approach to solar configurations, since each solar module will have its own inverter and, best of all, its own internet-enabled monitoring capability. Please see this demo to better understand this breakthrough technology: http://www.enphaseenergy.com/products/moreinfo/howitworks.cfm As always, grateful for your support, The freEner-g team
