We hope you had a great summer.  freEner-g continues to make progress with Xcel Energy to complete the signing of the grant.  Meanwhile, we have completed a majority of our phone assessments and will begin to schedule on-site assessments.  We look forward to starting installations as soon as the contract is signed!

freEner-g's Solar Electric Truck from E-Ride
 

E-Ride Truck

 
Thanks to E-Ride Industries, freEner-g now has a Solar Electric Vehicle!  This custom-designed truck will be used to transport solar panels from our office to the installation site.  This truck can reach speeds of 25 mph and travel distances up to 55 miles.  Solar panels will soon be installed on the roof of the truck to provide power for the lights, radio and air conditioning.  You can check out E-Ride's selection of solar vehicles at www.E-Ride.com.
Update on the Minnesota Cup
 
Unfortunately, freEner-g did not make it into the final round of the Minnesota Cup.  Overall, it was a great experience and we are proud to have made it into the semi-finals.  Good luck to the finalists!
